WHERE WE’RE STAYING
Right in the heart of one of London’s most desirable neighborhoods, we’re so excited to be staying at the elegant + luxurious Mayfair Townhouse. This property is the only London hotel to be awarded Conde Nast Traveler’s 2021 ‘Hot List for Best New Hotels in the World’, as well as Travel + Leisure’s ‘IT LIST for The Best New Hotels in the World!’ While we’re tucked away on a quiet road, we’ll be in the center of the action, having access to the sights and sounds of London’s West End. Brushing shoulders with leafy Hyde Park and the royal Green Park, Mayfair evokes old and new world exclusivity. Synonymous with status, heritage and prestige, Mayfair’s centre stage is surrounded by world-class shopping, bespoke retailers, fine dining restaurants and cultural attractions.

WHAT WE’RE DOING
While you want the stress of planning left to us, we know you’ll want some free time to explore freely as well! Our itineraries are carefully crafted to give you a balance of the two each day. For example, one day we’ll take you on a tour of London, followed by Afternoon Tea for lunch… but then that evening you’ll be free to do dinner wherever you choose. Other days you’ll have mornings to yourself and then the group will come together for afternoon activities or dinners together. But fear not—even with the free time you’re given, our team is here to equip you with an abundance of suggestions and additional opportunities to sign up for so you’re never short of things to do!

MEET YOUR HOSTS
From Team Atlas, you’ll be guided by Whitney & Lucy, who both call London home. Whitney is the Founder & Managing Director of Atlas. Lucy, our Trip Planner, is originally from Sydney but has lived in London for over a decade (and is now a British Citizen!) Both of their backgrounds in international travel and working with the Atlas travel planning team has facilitated direct relationships with top hoteliers, as well as a range of on the ground local partners.
Both Whitney & Lucy pride themselves in creating authentic travel experiences that showcase the best of local culture & memorable experiences. Together, they’ve hosted many Atlas trips and are so excited to once again combine their passion for travel and love of their home— London!
We’re thrilled to have Elizabeth Holmes joining us for this trip to London! Elizabeth is an experienced multimedia journalist and author of the New York Times bestseller, HRH: So Many Thoughts on Royal Style. She’s traveled to London on assignment for a variety of events (including the most recent Coronation) and has a wealth of relevant knowledge & commentary to enhance this trip.

You’re happy to walk & take public transportation: Londoners walk or take the tube most places and we’ll be doing plenty of that on this trip!
You’re not seeking out Royal controversy: We understand the Royal Family can spark, well… so many thoughts. In the spirit of kindness, we ask our travellers to use thoughtful words & remember that we are coming together for connection, not conflict.
You’re looking to make friends: While you are welcome to sign up with someone, we want to emphasize that the purpose of this trip is to bring together a group of people who are all looking to make friends. For this reason, we suggest signing up solo, or with one friend (rather than a group).
