WHY TRAVEL WITH US?
Atlas Adventures was designed as a way to facilitate meaningful travel while connecting with like-minded people. Not only do these trips eliminate the stress or planning typically required on your end, they also provide access to incredibly unique experiences that you couldn’t just plan on your own.
This trip in Belize will focus on collectively creating balance: providing you with ample time for relaxation, self-care, learning and personal development… all while having fun and making authentic friendships with the other women on the trip.

WHERE WE’RE STAYING
Thatch Caye sits on its own private island off the coast of Dangriga, Belize. The island feels deserted in all the right ways, with a peaceful atmosphere, lush Belizean foliage, and pristine beaches. Accommodations are all recently renovated using reclaimed materials from the island. While the resort is fully sustainable, you won’t even notice you’re staying at an eco-resort. It’s the perfect place to disconnect and recharge (WiFi is only available in common areas, allowing you to immerse yourself in your getaway).
Guests will have access to exclusive use of bicycles, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, fishing rods, and other non-motorized island toys at no extra charge. Explore the surrounding waters, relax in a hammock or bask in the sun, it's all included!
*Rooms are priced at double occupancy (2 travelers per room). We will honor roommate requests if you’re traveling with a friend. And if you’re traveling solo? We will pair you up in a room with another traveler (with your own beds). Travelers must be vaccinated to ensure safety for all.
about the trip
While the stress of planning is left to us, we know you’ll want some free time to yourself as well! Our itineraries are carefully crafted to give you a balance of the two each day. Meals are served communally and we have a few group activities each day that we’ll all do together. You’ll also have plenty of free time everyday to do as you please, whether that’s reading in a hammock by yourself, hanging out with fellow travelers, or signing up for additional excursions (not included in ticket price).
I’m so excited to use this particular trip to focus on collectively creating balance in our lives. After an incredibly tumultuous and eye-opening year, is returning “back to normal” really our best solution? Or can we create a better alternative moving forward? During this trip, we’ll explore a range of topics together to do just that. Our hope is that you’ll leave feeling refreshed, recharged, inspired and well-connected. KEEPING YOU SAFE
COVID-19 has immensely changed the way we think about travel planning and safety. The Thatch Caye team and I have worked tenaciously to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being remains a top priority. Here is what we’re doing to keep you safe:
Vaccinations are required for all travelers
COVID testing is available directly on the island
All staff will continue to wear masks as long as needed
The majority of all activities will take place outdoors or in spaces with plenty of open air
Belize was recently awarded a “Safe Travel” certification by the world travel and tourism council

covid CANCELLATION POLICY
If our group needs to cancel this trip for COVID related reasons (see below) any funds you have paid will be fully refundable up until 30 days before the trip.
If this trip needs to be cancelled for any COVID 19 reasons (see below) within 30 days of the trip, those funds can be used for any future trip, through 2022 (aka, we would reschedule).
- Level 4 Global or Country-Specific Health Advisory (Do not travel) issued by US State Department
- Border closures prohibiting non-residents travel in /out of destination country
- Mandatory quarantine upon arrival to destination country
- Your personal illness and/or health complications due to Covid-19
For any other cancellations, the Atlas Adventures standard cancellation policy can be viewed HERE. Travelers who want the option to cancel for personal reasons outside of COVID are advised to purchase additional travel insurance (which we can help you navigate!)
